Consumers over 50 are a compelling market with unique needs and the desire to acquire technologies that make their life more engaging and fun. According to Matt Mitchell, SVP & CIO, AARP 50+ consumers expect of products and serices:
  • Functionality –target specific lifestyles and needs
  • Now-ability –Boomers are impatient, be where they are
  • Simplicity –simple is efficient, efficient is simple
  • Engage-ability –technology must be engaging
  • Play-ability –If its engaging, they will want to play with it
  • Connect-ability –connect to people next to you or globally
  • Trust-ability –boomers need to trust that it is secure and works
