A new Ambient Assisted Living Lab has been opened in Bremen, Germany. In the lab new AAL-technology will be tested and evaluated for everyday usability. The focus is on (natural language) interaction between users of the wheelchair ROLLAND or the INTELLIGENTWALKER with an intelligent environment (room automation, intelligent furniture control, etc.); on this basis, higher assistance scenarios shall be realised.
